Had to have the front desk call Rocky's Taxi for us and we had to use the house phone in the lobby to confirm. Found out the phone in our room did not work for outside calls (worked internally though) when we tried to phone to confirm our taxi ride back to the airport.
They also asked people with clothes to leave the beach or disrobe. They even asked the wife about her Koobo, which doesn't even have a camera. Camera police where out scanning for anyone with an elevated cell phone (as if taking pictures) and asking those people to cover the camera lens with stickers that they provided. The resort usually sends us a fruit bowel and a bottle of Champagne on our day, this year though we got a plate of about 10 pieces of sliced fruit a card and no Champagne (cost cutting?) the day after we checked in and a week before our anniversary. We normally celebrate our anniversary while here. Did I mention guests are forbidden from taking pictures on site. At one point security returned his chair after a guest removed it to discourage his presence. Security did nothing about it despite numerous complaints. There was a native Jamaican seated by the nude beach massage shack, using his cell phone, pointed at the nude beach, most days, for many hours (someone took a picture of him and posted it on FB). If you fail the test, take another test the next day, or ask for the PCR test, some of our friends did and passed the second time. They had tested positive when doing their antigen tests to reenter the US. The Covid positive isolation wing was max'd out by the end of the month for many days (ten rooms I believe), we had friends in there.
The nude pool was full, really full, of 100% unmasked, guests. No masking required outside the dinning area for guests. Masks were provided and there was also a lot of sanitizer stations.
When we arrived, staff was asking unmasked guest to mask up in the dinning area, however, fewer masks were seen after two weeks, and less staff asking for masking. A lot of staff wearing their masks on their chin or UNDER their nose. On arrival on April 18 signs posted everywhere about masking and social distancing (social distancing, at this resort?).
